CLGS Lavender Lunch

Queering Liturgy: LGBT and Beyond

Queer liturgy takes its place in the world!

Join us to learn about Siddur Shaar Zahav, the newly published
prayerbook created by San Francisco's LGBT synagogue.
Ancient prayers and brand new liturgies in English and Hebrew,

* Reading on discovering your sexual orientation
* Marriage equality blessing and blessings for non-traditional
* Jewish poetry from all over the world and new prayers with LGBTQ
* Prayers for non-believers and agnostics
* Transgender Day of Remembrance prayers

CLGS is pleased to welcome the acclaimed poet and liturgist Andrew Ramer
and Shaar Zahav community leader Arthur Slepian to this lunch who will
lead us through the prayerbook, explain how it came into being, and tell
how it is being used here and around the world.

Please bring your lunch; CLGS will provide desserts and drinks.
